Welcome to Gypsy Jazz Workshop (New Zealand)

The 6th New Zealand Gypsy Guitar Workshop Wellington, NZ - 3rd and 4th of July 2010

Registrations are open for our main event. This is a great opportunity to start to learn this amazing style or for experts who need to polish up on their technique.
Guitarists Leigh Jackson and Steve Sherry will be the tutors for the weekend workshop which will take place in Wellington. Leigh is a well known player of this style (search gypsy jazz on youtube) and will run classes on the Gypsy Rest Stroke technique and soloing. Steve is a recent import from europe, he will be arriving back fresh from the Samois festival in France with lots of new ideas just in time for the workshop. Steve is a specialist rhythm guitarist and has studied with the best in the world, so if you want to specialise in rhythm playing he is the man.
As usual the workshop is limited  to 20 people and it always sells out so be in quick if you want to join us. Registering is easy and can be done on site if you have a credit card or paypal account, we also accept direct dredit, and if you want to do it the old fashioned way you can even send us a cheque.
At a cost of $200 for the weekend we think this workshop offers great value for money and will give you a rare opportunity to explore this style in a friendly supportive environment -
